TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Lifestyle Boxing Company

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your participation in in-person classes, training sessions, events, and related services provided by Lifestyle Boxing Company (“Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us”), whether booked through our mobile application, website, or in studio.
By booking, attending, or participating in any in-person services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Eligibility and Participation
You must be at least 18 years of age, or have written consent from a parent or legal guardian, to participate in any in-person services.
By participating, you represent and warrant that:

You are physically and medically capable of engaging in boxing and fitness activities

You have consulted a physician if you have any health concerns or pre-existing conditions

You voluntarily choose to participate despite the inherent risks
2. Health, Safety, and Assumption of Risk
Boxing and fitness training involves inherent and significant risks, including but not limited to physical exertion, impact, muscle strain, injury, dizziness, dehydration, cardiovascular events, or other physical harm.
By participating in services provided by Lifestyle Boxing Company, you:

Voluntarily assume all risks, known and unknown, associated with participation

Agree that participation is entirely at your own risk

Acknowledge that the Company does not provide medical advice or supervision.
You are strongly advised to consult a medical professional prior to beginning any fitness or boxing program.
If you have any medical conditions or are pregnant, consult a physician before engaging in classes.
3. Waiver and Release of Liability (Alberta)
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, you waive, release, and forever discharge Lifestyle Boxing Company, its owners, directors, employees, contractors, trainers, agents, and affiliates from any and all claims, demands, actions, damages, or liabilities, including those arising from the negligence of Lifestyle Boxing Company, resulting from or related to:

Participation in classes or training sessions

Use of equipment or facilities

Presence on the premises
This waiver applies to personal injury, property damage, or loss, except where such waiver is prohibited by law.
4. Class Bookings, Cancellations and No-Shows
All classes are subject to availability due to limited class space. You must book classes in advance through our website or app. Cancellations must be made at least 6 hours before a scheduled class to avoid penalties.
Penalties:

Cancellations under 6 hrs prior to class or no-shows will result in forfeited class passes.

Cancellations under 6 hrs prior to class for unlimited members will be charged a $10 fee for a late cancel, $20 fee for a no-show.​
Please arrive at least 15 minutes before class to ensure you have enough time to prepare for the class. Please be aware that if you signed up online for a class and have not checked in at the front desk at least 10 minutes prior to class start, your bag will be given away.
Participants arriving late may be refused entry for safety reasons.
5. Memberships, Payments, and Refunds
Memberships, class packages, and drop-in passes are non-transferable.
Payment is required in advance unless otherwise stated. Pricing and offerings are subject to change. We accept major credit cards and digital payment methods.
Recurring payments for auto-renewed Membership cancellations require notice prior to next billing period.
All prices are in CAD. All sales are final except as required under applicable consumer protection laws, including the Alberta Fair Trading Act.
6. Studio Rules and Conduct
For the safety and enjoyment of all participants, you agree to:

Follow all trainer instructions and posted studio rules.

Use equipment only as instructed.

Proper workout attire and shoes are required for class participation.

Conduct yourself respectfully toward staff and other participants
Lifestyle Boxing Company reserves the right to refuse service, remove participants, or terminate memberships for unsafe, disruptive, or inappropriate behavior, without refund where permitted by law.
7. Personal Property
Lifestyle Boxing Company is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal belongings brought onto the premises.
8. Intellectual Property and Media Release
All branding, class formats, training methods, instructional materials, and content are the exclusive property of Lifestyle Boxing Company.
By attending classes, you grant Lifestyle Boxing Company permission to use photographs or video recordings taken in the studio for marketing and promotional purposes, unless you notify us in writing to info@lifestyleboxingco.com prior to participation.
9. Third-Party Platforms
Bookings and payments may be processed through third-party platforms. Lifestyle Boxing Company is not responsible for errors, outages, or policies of those third parties.
10. Privacy and Personal Information (Alberta)
Personal information is collected, used, and disclosed in accordance with the Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) of Alberta and our Privacy Policy.
11. Suspension or Termination
Lifestyle Boxing Company reserves the right to suspend or terminate access to services or memberships for violations of these Terms or conduct that compromises safety or studio operations.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued participation in services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
13. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of law principles.
